Online games, invite codes and questions
Contact us
Email anubhav.g.9948@gmail.com and we will reply
as soon as we can, usually within a few days.
To help us fix something quickly, please include your device model, your
Android version, how you were playing (online, with friends, on Wi-Fi or
offline), and roughly when it happened. A screenshot or short screen recording helps more
than anything else.
Play Online can't find anyone
Play Online needs an internet connection and matches you one on one, with classic rules. If
nobody else is looking for a game at the same moment, you wait up to 45 seconds, and if still
nobody comes, a computer player takes the other seat so you are never left waiting. You can also
tap Play the computer instead at any point.
My friend can't join with my code
- Both phones need an internet connection. Codes work across different networks and different
cities. You do not have to be together.
- The code works while your room is open. Going to WhatsApp or another app to send it is fine:
the room waits for you, and a friend who taps the invite while you are away waits in the
room until you come back to Ludoz.
- If you stay away for a long time, the room closes. When you come back, Ludoz opens a new room
for you and shows a new code. Send that one; the old code no longer works.
- If your friend sees Invite expired, the room behind that code has closed.
Open a new room and send the new code.
- Make sure you both have the latest version of Ludoz from Google Play.
I can't see my friend's game on Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi games only reach phones on the same Wi-Fi network. Mobile data, a guest
network, or a different router will not see each other. Some public and office networks block
devices from finding one another; if that happens, use Play with friends and a code
instead. It works on any connection.
Why did I lose a game I hadn't finished?
Two things end a game early for a player:
- Leaving. Closing the app or leaving an online game counts as a forfeit, so the
other players are not left waiting for someone who has gone.
- Running out of chances. Every turn has a fifteen-second clock. Each time the
clock runs out (to roll, or to move), one of the three dots on your card turns from green to
red. The third red dot is a forfeit. Chances do not come back during a game.
What is Kill to Finish?
A rule set you can choose when playing with friends, on Wi-Fi or offline. Your pieces cannot enter
your home column until you have sent at least one opponent back to their yard. A tick on your card
shows once you have.
I lost my progress
There is no progress to lose: Ludoz keeps no history, levels or statistics. The only things saved
on your phone are your display name and your settings, and those are reset if you uninstall the game
or clear its data.
The game crashes or will not start
Try restarting your phone, then check for an update in Google Play. If it still fails, email us
with your device model and Android version. Ludoz requires Android 7.1 or newer.
Turning things off
- Sound: the SOUND button at the top right of the home screen.
- Your name: tap it on the home screen to change it at any time.
- Ad consent choice (EU/UK/Switzerland): clear the game's data in
Android Settings → Apps → Ludoz → Storage; you are asked again the next time you open
the game.
- Ad personalisation: reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's
Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Everything: uninstalling the game removes all data stored on your device.
